I have been blessed with many gifts which have only become apparent to me since living in the U.S. Thank you all! I am a recovering English personthat past was the compost; this is the garden! In this opening to wholeness and freedom I am accompanied by many friendsSpirit/Creator/God/Goddess, animals and plants, the rocks, non-selfambulatory beings (they prefer not to be called "stuffed!") and delightful human communitywho have encouraged the development of my playful, joyful, magical, life-affirming self. I am happy to report that the de-Anglicizing process continues to reveal that mind, heart and soul are capable of infinite expansion (middle age suggests the same about my body!) and healing. I am grateful, however, for my English sense of humor (humour?) and for my poor working class roots, which taught me to share my blessings. I am a pilgrim-artist: a photographer and writer. I am a Fool for God, a priestess and ceremonialist. Part of my purpose in life is to facilitate healing and transformation by using my photography to accompany people on their spiritual journeys to wholeness and freedom. These images draw on the essence of many faiths and suggest the traditions of others. This is a body of work in progress fueled by the desire to encourage people of different faiths and cultures to understand each other. I thank my teachers: my mother the earth and all my family in Nature; my friends; the sages of many faiths; the creatures who bring me guidance; the silence. I thank God in all her/his many manifestations. |
